At a union meeting a few weeks ago the subject of Ani somehow came up in conversation. Someone mentioned that Ani wanted to cancel a show in Buffalo I believe it was, when she found out it was being sponsored by Starbucks (or something like that, I don't exactly remember the story but it was definitely related to her not liking Starbucks and her support of the Industrial Workers of the World). So I sent the following in an e-mail to Anna Kapechuk in promotions and marketing through the RBR website.

Anyone think we might be able to do it? I figure it's worth a shot and if we can do it, it will bring a lot of attention to an important issue. Even if we can't do it, I'm still going to the concert here in Minneapolis on October 3rd. It'll be my first show since January 2004 and I'm very excited!
